After my event on July 18th, I enjoyed a much needed vacation throughout Colombia. I travelled through Cartagena (obviously), Barranquilla, Cali, Pereira, Manizales, Armenia, Ibague, and finally Bogota. Due to all of this, it was somewhat complicated to edit my page. I arrived to Orlando on August 8th and I immediately began to organize myself after a month out of the country. I have two videos that are two hours each of the distribution event and I am editing them so I can post it as one on my websites. I will post it soon but in the meantime, here are some still images of the video.

El Universal- Cartagena, Colombia

The most read newspaper in Cartagena, El Universal, published an article about Beyond the Wall on July 22nd. Reporter Samuel Alvarez went to the home where I was staying at to interview me. Alvarez also told me that he would support me with my campaign anytime in the future. Thank you!

Miss Bolivar 2009 speaks at the distribution event

Natalia Navarro Galvis will represent the Departament of Bolivar in Miss Colombia this November. She represented the Miss Colombia Organization (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) in my distribution event. I want to remind everyone that the Miss Colombia Organization supported my project at all times; they even paid for the shipping of the donations from the United States to Colombia. Today, Miss Bolivar still supports my project and plans for the future. Thanks a lot Natalia!

Letter from Miss Colombia 2009, Michelle Rouillard

As I mentioned before, Miss Colombia 2009, Michelle Rouillard, could not assist my event because she was preparing for Miss Universe in Bogota. The Miss Colombia Organization (Concurso Nacional de Belleza), that has supported me from the beginning, contacted her so she can write me a letter. I really appreciate Miss Colombia's letter because she took time out of her busy schedule to support Beyond the Wall. Thank you very much and good luck in the future pagaent.

confirmed that from small wishes come large benefits. Today I am marvelled to
see Fernando's great heart; with the fortune of living comfortably with his
family in the United States, he overturned his interest to help our country and
with his passion and time to offer a smile and warm company to the residents of
El Talon in Turbaco.

Fernando, for you a huge hug and it pleases me to know that the
coming generations want a more united and committed country with the
